At the end of January 2020, here comes the most important festival in China and Taiwan, which is our Chinese New Year! We are all looking forward to the festival since we can get together with our family during these days and do some interesting activities. Such as have New Year's greetings, lighting firecrackers, decorate spring couplets beside the doors, have reunion dinner on Chinese New Year’s Eve, and children will receive red envelopes...and so on. If you are attracted by these fun events and joyful atmosphere, welcome to visit China or Taiwan during these days.

Meantime, pls note that Jan. 25th~28th, 2020 is our Chinese New Year holiday, Suntan sales team will come back to work on Jan. 29th, 2020. However, our factory holiday is longer, the lead time will be extended accordingly. If you have any demand recently, pls contact our sales team as soon as possible so that we can arrange for you earlier. Thank you.

The double ninth festival, the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, is known as the "double ninth", which is also known as the "double ninth", which is also known as the "climbing festival". There are also nine, dogwood, chrysanthemum festival and so on. Since September 9th "jiujiu" homophone is "long", there is permanent meaning, often on this day ancestor worship and implementation of the old activities. The double ninth festival is also the fourth festival of Chinese traditional festivals.

On June 18th, we had a one-day holiday for the Dragon Boat Festival which is one of the 4 traditional Chinese folk festivals. This festival is originated in the ancient China and in the year of 2006, it became the first Chinese national holiday to be declared as a world intangible cultural heritage. 

Nowadays, in every fifth day of the fifth lunar month, we’ll have the Dragon Boat races and eat glutinous rice dumplings to commemorate a national hero Qu Yuan. There is also different custom in different regions of China, such as drinking realgar wine or flying kites, etc. in some places.

Many people around China are anticipating the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on Thursday this year, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to Chinese Lunar Calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice) wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats. 

The festival is also best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes. This regatta commemorates the death of Qu Yuan, a loyal minister who was said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. The races are held among different clans, villages and organizations, and the winners are awarded medals, banners, jugs of wine and festive meals.
